Two Class of 2025 IU School of Medicine students, Olivia Bednarski and Jacob Thomas, were recognized with awards at the 2025 IU Indianapolis Honors Convocation on April 6.

Bednarski, a graduating student in the MD/PhD program, received the Sherry Queener Graduate Student Excellent Award for her PhD work in the IU School of Health and Human Services.

Thomas took home the Chancellor's Scholars Award as the medical student recipient.
