Bio
Dr. Keyur Vora is an Advanced Imaging Cardiologist and Clinical Trialist serving as Director of Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging & Clinical Trials at the Medical Imaging Research Institute (MIRI), Indiana University School of Medicine.
With core expertise in Multimodality Cardiac Imaging and Computational Medicine, Dr. Vora integrates advanced diagnostics with interventional clinical trials. Leveraging his proficiency in Cardiovascular MR, Cardiac CT (including Angiography), and Multimodal Echocardiography, he designs clinical trials focused on precision diagnostics and prognostics. His expertise in intraprocedural imaging guidance (Cath Lab and Cardiac Operating Rooms) established his strategic focus on vessel-muscle relationships in the acute phase of MI, driving the development of protocols to prevent ischemia-reperfusion injury and Hemorrhagic STEMI.
Dr. Vora actively serves the cardiovascular community as an elected Board Member of the American College of Cardiology – Indiana Chapter. He maintains the highest standard of clinical Level III Certification across multiple advanced imaging modalities, demonstrating expert competency in complex diagnostic acquisition and interpretation. His clinical and academic standing is recognized through election as a Fellow of the field's premier organizations, including the American College of Physicians (FACP), the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (FSCCT), and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR).
Dr. Vora bridges the gap between trials and practice, translating next-generation biomarker imaging into actionable strategies for enhanced cardiovascular patient care.
