Wail Ali, MD

Bio

Dr. Ali, originally from Syria, earned his medical degree from Damascus University. He completed his pediatrics training at the University of Aleppo and the University of South Alabama, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. He further specialized in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care with additional training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ali has a deep interest in the physiology and pathophysiology of congenital heart defects and cardiopulmonary interactions. His research is dedicated to developing preventive measures to enhance outcomes in pediatric cardiac surgery. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons.
